New winter coat range at Wellies and Worms for little ones

Keep little ones happy over the next few months by ensuring they remain cosy outdoors with the new innovative range of winter coats from leading children’s online outfitters Wellies and Worms.

This year’s selection sees favourite labels such as Spotty Otter, Kozikidz and Hatley introduce new styles and 100 per cent chill-proof garments such as fleece-lined jumpsuits and seam-sealed jackets as well as versatile detachable gilets.

A favourite this year, for ages two to six, is the very colourful Spotty Otter violet drift down combo jacket. Not only is this nylon light-weight jacket a fabulous colour (bright purple with pink lining) but it’s also filled with premium duck down – making the wearer feel they are still tucked up in their cosy continental quilt while playing outdoors in winter. The cuffs are velcro-fastening to prevent any cold wind blowing up the sleeves and the hood detachable to allow for a warm woollen hat or other thermal headwear.

Another bonus of the Spotty Otter winter jacket is the ripstop technical fabric, ensuring there are no big flapping pieces of material were the wearer to get caught on a fence or similar. And, in keeping with environmental principles, the jacket has been produced from sustainable materials.

A clever little number, the Spotty Otter jacket can also be worn in spring and summer by simply removing the gilet, resulting in a multi-season’s jacket suitable from January to December. And the very best bit? It’s machine washable!

Kozikidz have also come up with a fully-padded winter jacket and detachable gilet. Their version is in 100 per cent waterproof and breathable Hydratex. Suitable for primary age youngsters, the trendy aquamarine colour will probably appeal to boys while the purple will definitely be a winner with the fairer sex. Both colours have handy high visibility reflectors while the hood, hem and waist are all fully adjustable for the ultimate comfort wear.

Meanwhile, not to be outdone, Hatley are heading for a co-ordinated look with their pretty white dots on red coat, complete with quilted 100 per cent cotton lining and polyfill padding. All seams are sealed for warmth and buttons are also white polka dots. This waterproof winter coat looks fabulous with the matching all-weather wellington splash boots with easy pull-on handles and reflective patches for those chilly walks home from school in the dark. It also comes in the very popular winter birds design for ages two to seven.
