The iconic black leather jacket, worn by the King of Pop Michael Jackson during his famous ‘Bad’ tour, has fetched an unbelievable amount of US$ 240,000 at the annual Icons & Idols auction event, administered by the Julien's Auctions Beverly Hills Gallery in Los Angeles.

The recently held Icons & Idols auction featured a range of the legendary musician’s clothing and accessories, designed by his long-time costume designers Michael Bush and Dennis Tompkins.

The other items that were also up for auction at the event include a pair of black spandex pants, a long sleeve shirt and mesh tuck strap, worn by M.J in his hugely popular ‘Scream’ video.

Other than the auctioning of the icon’s stage, video and tour costumes, his much talked about Swarovski crystal-embedded gloves also went under the hammer at the event, fetching an amount of US$ 100,000 each.

These priceless items, used by Michael Jackson, have been exhibited in multiple continents, including South America, Europe and Asia as part of the Icons & Idols worldwide tour before going for sale.
