Chrysalis launches innerwear line for transgender women

Chrysalis Lingerie, the first US-based lingerie brand made by and for transgender women, has come up with two suitable undergarment lines, exclusively meant for those who have made the gender transition from male-to-female.
The two collections - basic and couture - include a range of colourful bras with full-cup insert pockets and seamless briefs that will help in smoothening and enhancing female like curves in a transgender body.
Many women have been waiting a long time for such lingerie, Chrysalis co-founder Cy Lauz told Lingerie Talk.
Cy said there are no products at present that are specially meant for transgender women, and the ones that are available for cross-dressers are all sexually exploitative.
Cy added that they wanted to make lingerie that actually celebrated the transgender woman, and made her feel beautiful, while also being practical.
According to estimates, there are about one million adults in the US who identify themselves as transgender. To cater to this segment, Chrysalis is also planning to launch a couture collection.
