India’s leading outdoor adventure wear company, Woodland, is planning to enter into luxury apparel market by launching high-end fashion clothing line.

Speaking to fibre2fashion, managing director of Woodland, Mr. Harkirat Singh said, “We are planning to launch high-end clothing collections in next three to four months time.”

“The high-end fashion collections will compliment with our shoes and accessories range,” he adds.

Giving the rationale behind the company’s decision to enter the premium segment, he says, “, High-end garments add to the vibrancy of the stores since they are more colorful and it gives the store a complete look.”

Woodland is also planning to open 10 new exclusive stores of its sub-brand Woods this year. “We are planning to open around 10 stores of Woods in cities such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and other cities this year,” he adds.

Woodland is the flagship brand of the business house Aero Group and it offers a wide range of apparels for men, women and kids, which are available through over 380 exclusive stores and around 4000 multi-brand stores.
