Magid unveils new touchscreen-compatible work glove

Magid Glove & Safety Manufacturing Company, a leader in the personal protective clothing market, recently unveiled a new touchscreen-compatible work glove. The groundbreaking new product, named the Touchscreen ROC (T-ROC), enables users to make precise inputs on a touchscreen without having to remove their gloves.

Typical work gloves are not compatible with touchscreens, but the new T-ROC glove features an electro-conductive copper and nylon blended liner which allows the transfer of an electric current from the wearer's finger to the touchscreen. It is this current transfer that triggers touchscreen function, and while regular gloves block the connection between a hand and a touchscreen, the T-ROC gloves are specially designed to prevent this problem. Compatible with all touchscreen devices – from tablets to smartphones to job-site control screens – the T-ROC is form-fitted for dexterity and accuracy and has a polyurethane-dipped palm for extra grip.

"At Magid Glove, we have built a reputation for offering our customers 'gloves that work,' and the new T-ROC gloves are an excellent example of why we are recognized as an industry leader," said Ariel Margolis of Magid Glove. "The T-ROC is an incredible new take on a traditional pair of gloves, and our customers will surely appreciate the benefits this innovative glove technology provides."

The T-ROC is the perfect glove for dry work environments. Whether dealing with hand tools, construction tasks, or material handling, the T-ROC protects a worker's hands while enabling them to easily use touchscreen devices like machine controls or smartphones. The T-ROC glove is machine washable and is available in men’s sizes S-XL.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Magid Glove & Safety is America’s leading manufacturer, importer, distributor, and direct supplier of hand protection, protective clothing, first aid, and personal protective equipment. A valued partner in safety to thousands of companies, Magid proudly offers its own signature Magid-branded products as well as products from other top-quality brands such as 3M, Ansell, SHOWA Best Glove, DuPont, MAPA, Moldex, MSA, North by Honeywell, Sperian, and more.
