Aeon unfolds plans to expand apparel retail

Supermarket operator Aeon is going ahead with plans to expand its apparel retailing business.

It plans to introduce six new brands of clothing and modify three existing brands.

As part of measures to help it compete against specialty retailers, Aeon's strategy is to design and manufacture its range of apparel in order to compete effectively.

Aeon intends to have larger display area for its range of apparels with plans to target potential customer groups.
