The new line combines Smack’s trendy, “So Cal” lifestyle image with Phiten’s technology and the company’s philosophy of health, energy and well-being. At its core, the “Phitenized” garments will feature Phiten’s AQUA-METALS technology - metals broken down into microscopic particles dispersed in water. The purpose is to help athletes excel during activity and to support a healthy and active lifestyle.
This will be the first time Phiten technology has been incorporated into athletic apparel (in the U.S.). Smack holds an exclusive license for Phiten infused volleyball apparel and a non-exclusive license for other sports. After the initial launch, Smack plans to expand “Phitenized” apparel offerings to other sports including baseball, softball and soccer, and hopes to launch the line through additional distributors.
Beach Activewear: Boardshorts and bikinis.
Team Uniform Apparel: Custom sublimated and stock jerseys, shorts.
Performance Apparel: Fitted tops and bottoms, leggings, pants, jackets and shorts.
“I believe the Phiten technology offers the next step in the evolution of technical fabrics, similar to what wicking fabrics did in the 90’s,” stated Bill Sigler, CEO and President of Smack Sportswear. With Phiten as a partner, we have a chance to introduce the most innovative technology ever incorporated into fabric, and we are calling on the support of all of our friends and family, our partners, and sports enthusiasts all over the world to help make this happen!”
