WRAP is pleased to be a sponsor of the 2013 International Product Safety and Restricted Substances Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Organized by the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA), this conference will allow owners and managers of garment, textile, and footwear production units around the world to learn about the legal requirements regarding product safety for their export-oriented goods as well has how to make their facilities more sustainable and compliant with internationally-accepted standards.

WRAP will be an exhibitor at the conference and President and CEO Avedis Seferian will moderate a panel on how factories, suppliers, and product quality labs work together to ensure supply chains remain compliant. He will also be delivering the event’s closing remarks.

“It is always a pleasure to be involved with the AAFA’s educational conferences. They have set the bar on these seminars and always deliver an excellent and informative event. WRAP sees fostering awareness on compliance as a major part of our mission. As such, we are always happy to build on the great partnership we have with the AAFA when it comes to these international product safety seminars, which are such great forums for manufacturers in various parts of the world to hear directly from experts in the field and obtain valuable information to use in their daily operations,” said Seferian.
