G&K Services Canada appoints Kevin Fancey as President

Fancey joined G&K Services Canada as President Designate in August 2013 and has worked closely with Mr. Wood and other G&K leaders to ensure a seamless transition. Fancey brings nearly 20 years of experience as a leader in service-focused businesses in Canada.

Prior to joining G&K, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Coinamatic Group of Companies. He has also held senior leadership positions at Ricoh Canada, Chubb Security Systems Canada, and Pitney Bowes of Canada.

Wood joined G&K Services in 1995. He served as a General Manager and Regional Vice President, before being named President of G&K Services Canada in 1998. Under his guidance, G&K has grown to become the market leading uniform rental company in Canada, more than doubling its annual revenue.

Wood established a corporate culture centered on customer service, employee empowerment and engagement, which contributed to G&K being named one of the 50 Best Employers in Canada for the past ten consecutive years.
