Mango's first plus-size clothing line Violeta goes online

The famous Spanish international clothing brand Mango has just introduced its first-ever clothing line Violeta by Mango online.
 
Initially, the line will be exclusively available for European online customers only, and would later hit brick-and-mortar stores located in four cities—Barcelona, Marbella, Sevilla and Santiago de Compostela—on January 17, 2014.
 
Also, in future the company will launch the new range, which is available in European sizes 40 to 52, in its other major international markets, including France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Turkey, Germany, Netherlands and Russia.
 
By the end of 2014, Mango plans to open about 100 stores, including stand-alones and shop-in-shops, of around 350 square metre area each, dedicated to its recently unveiled plus-size line. 
 
Created by a highly specialized team of nearly 40 experts in different disciplines of fashion and accessory design, the large-size clothing brand will be launched with an initial collection of over 400 on-trend, feminine and comfortable pieces. 
 
Founded in 1984, the Barcelona-based Mango operates with a working staff of more than 12, 200 people.
