The European Union (EU) had imposed anti-dumping duties on Vietnamese footwear industry recently.
ActionAid Vietnam and Lefaso have planned to collect suggestions of footwear workers in order to assess the impact of EU's action on footwear industry of Vietnam, Lefaso said.
The survey is planned to be held at 21 footwear enterprises of Hanoi, Hai Phong and HCM city during April 25-May 11, this year.
The EC's decision will create trade imbalances and will affect 500,000 industry workers, majority among them being female worker who account for 85 percent of the work force, according to ActionAid Vietnam.
ActionAid Vietnam attaches lot of importance to the conduct of this survey as it would help bring forth facts in proving Vietnam's innocence in anti-dumping case.
Vietnamese Ministry of Trade and Lefaso are holding negotiations with the EC in order to find a way out for an equitable solutions.
