Iconix signs license pact with Cayre Group for Mudd brand

Clothing retailer Iconix Brand Group Inc has entered into a license agreement with The Cayre Group for the Mudd brand to manufacture and distribute junior tops.
Mudd junior tops were previously manufactured by the brand's former owner, Tack Fat Group International Limited. The new collection will be available at department and specialty stores for spring 2007.
Commenting on the new license, Neil Cole, CEO of Iconix stated, "We are excited to be working with The Cayre Group to develop and grow our Mudd tops business, as we continue with our strategy to keep Mudd positioned as a leading junior lifestyle brand."
Mudd currently has 12 licensees who distribute a full range of apparel and accessory products including: Jeanswear, Footwear, Handbags, Sleepwear, Intimate Apparel, Outerwear, Eyewear Watches, Costume Jewelry, Cold Weather Accessories and Socks.
Iconix Brand Group Inc owns, licenses and markets a growing portfolio of consumer brands including Candie's, Bongo, Badgley Mischka, Joe Boxer, Rampage and Mudd.
