New York & Company appoints Susan Reiss as VP, merchandise manager

Specialty apparel chain New York & Company Inc announced that Susan Reiss will join the company as Vice President, Merchandise Manager - Casual.
In this role, Ms Reiss will be responsible for the merchandising of all casual knits, casual bottoms, shirts and jackets, all active wear and all denim products. She will report to Leslie Goldmann, Executive Vice President, Merchandise Manager - Apparel.
"We are delighted to welcome Sue to New York & Company," said Richard Crystal, Chairman, CEO and President of New York & Company.
"With over 25 years of experience in the retail industry, and extensive expertise in casual apparel, Sue is uniquely suited to capitalize on the opportunities in our casual business. We look forward to her many contributions and overall leadership," he said.
Ms Reiss brings a wealth of experience to New York & Company. She had spent her entire career at the Express division of Limited Brands, Inc. where she rose to the position of leader of women's apparel.
"I am pleased to welcome Sue to New York & Company and look forward to working with her," said Crystal.
New York & Company Inc, founded in 1918, is a leading specialty retailer of fashion-oriented, moderately-priced women's apparel. The company's proprietary branded New York & Company merchandise is sold exclusively through its national network of retail stores. It currently operates530 retail stores in 45 states.
