One of India’s ecommerce majors, Snapdeal, has appointed Jayant Sood as chief customer experience officer (CCO) to strengthen its senior management team.
In a statement, Sanpdeal said Sood will be responsible for streamlining the company’s customer service operations to deliver world-class experience to customers.
Sood comes with 25 years of experience, of which 20 years have been with American Express and the last 5 years with Bharti Airtel Ltd as the chief service officer. He has an extensive background in leading and managing large scale operations delivery, business transformation, finance and accounting, change management and customer experience both within India and across international markets.
Speaking about his appointment, Sood said, “Snapdeal has seen unprecedented growth in the last three years and is undoubtedly the fastest growing e-commerce company in the country. I am thrilled to be a part of this young and dynamic team, and look forward to raising the bar for customer service in the industry.”
