Prestigious fashion brand Nautica has entered India with showroom in Bangalore which is the largest in the world.

Company has entered in licensing agreement with Arvind Brands, which is promoting VF brands like Lee and Wrangler in Indian market.

Nautica's next destination is Delhi, where second store is expected to open next week.

Nautica's apparels are of high quality and its prices are also very high. It's trousers will cost Rs3500 while shirts will be priced at Rs2500 and t-shirts at Rs1200-2000.

Nautica's Bangalore showroom is spread over 6,500 square feet on Vittal Mallya Road.

Founded in 1983, VF Corp acquired Nautica, with sales of $2 billion in retail sales, three years back.

It gets nearly 85 percent of its business from the US, though contributions from the rapidly-expanding economies of China and Latin America have increased strongly in recent years.
