Apparel maker Indus-League stretches to UK & US markets

Apparel manufacturer, Indus-League Clothing has decided to foray into the US and UK markets.
It is venturing in these two markets on the basis of their credibility, informed Indus-League Clothing Managing Director K K Pant.
Urban Yoga brand, its mascot clothing brand that is made specifically for the Yoga practitioners, will lead its venture in UK market.
Urban Yoga brand also comprises accessories like bags, towels and mats for both men and women.
Gaining popularity in domestic market, the company recorded 60 percent growth in last financial year.
Pant adds, “Our aim is to be among the top ten ward-robe brand companies in five years. Apart from the US and the UK, there have been trade enquiries from South Africa and Australia.”
Urban Yoga recently signed MoU with French company Etam to form 50:50 joint venture to manufacture and sell lingeries and western wear.
A Rs150 core company Indus-League Clothing Ltd, founded in 1999 by a team of eight management professionals from the clothing industry, has made a name for itself in the readywear garment sector.
Company has reputed brands like Urban Yoga, mens wear brand Indigo Nation, jeans brand Jealous and scullers.
