Vitas grants membership to textile major My Hung

In a bid to expand its member list, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) has granted membership certificate to My Hung Garment & Trading Joint-Stock Company.
"Receiving My Hung is one of the strategic moves towards development of VITAS," stated Le Van Dao, General Secretary.
Under the Managing Directorship of Tran Xuan Lam, My Hung is emerging on country's textile and garment turf with stable growth in recent years.
My Hung was established in 2005 with 738 shuttles and 51 knitting machines operated by 720 workers. Its annual production capacity is 25,000,000 pieces of garment.
The company produces textile and garment, and footwear materials, machines and accessories for the sectors concerned.
Japan is a major export destination of My Hung accounting for 50 percent of its annual revenue worth VND29 billion (US $1.8 million).
