G.I. Joe's plans to open new store in November

The new Bellingham G.I. Joe's will feature a huge fishing and outdoor sports department, including what will be one of the largest ski and board shops in the Pacific Northwest. This is in addition to a giant Sport Services Pro Shop, which will offer winter and summer sports equipment
rentals, plus maintenance and tune-up of skis, snowboards and bicycles.
Consumers will love the incredible selection of high performance apparel from famous brands like Mountain Hardwear, The North Face, Columbia Sportswear, Nike, Under Armour and more. G.I. Joe's Rack & Rig department, with its gigantic selection of automotive products and accessories, will surely become the area's #1 destination for people who want to fix up their truck or SUV for outdoor pursuits.
Rack & Rig will sell and install a complete line of high quality roof racks and cargo boxes from both Thule and Yakima. And when you include famous brand high performance footwear, sport watches & sunglasses, kayaks & canoes, mountain bikes and everything else, the new Bellingham store promises to be the best G.I. Joe's store ever.
Daniels concluded, "Consumers can get an idea of what our Bellingham will be like by heading south to visit our Mount Vernon store, which opened in 2005. Bellingham will be our second new Washington store opening in 2006, the other being Kennewick. We continue to look for markets and locations that will fit our business model, and in fact have plans to open stores nextyear in Spokane, Washington and Boise, Idaho."
