COLORADO declares executive appointment of Mel Sutton

Mr Sutton said COLORADO group was a great company and he looked forward to leading the company through its next exciting phase.
“Initially, I intend to work closely with the senior management team to better understand and build on the initiatives they already have underway. I see significant opportunities in the diana ferrari and JAG businesses and the repositioning plans of the Colorado range show significant promise. The footwear businesses will be early stage recipients of benefits from the various supply chain initiatives, including the warehouse relocation early next year, “ said Mr Sutton.
Strengthened senior management team :
COLORADO group has also moved to significantly bolster its senior leadership team with General Manager appointments for its diana ferrari business and the role of Group Marketing. Both new General Managers individually have more than 20 years apparel and consumer marketing experience working for Australian and international large, iconic brands. COLORADO group will also shortly be in a position to announce a further key appointment to the position of General Manager of its JAG business.
Peter King joins COLORADO group as Group General Manager Marketing. Mr King brings a wealth of experience in marketing, brand direction and strategy gained during his 16 years with Levi Strauss domestically and internationally, and his most recent roles with Tabcorp Holdings, as General Manager Network Games and National Marketing Manager.
