Zumiez June sales up 38.2%, comp store sales rise 12.4%

Leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories Zumiez Inc announced that total net sales for the five-week period ended July 1, 2006 increased 38.2 percent to $21.2 million, compared to $15.3 million for the five-week period ended July 2, 2005.
The company's comparable store sales increased 12.4 percent for the five-week period, versus a comparable store sales increase of 10.7 percent in the year ago period. The company completed its acquisition of 19 Fast Forward stores on June 24, 2006. These stores are not included in the company's comparable store base.
