S Kumar to invest Rs360cr for retail expansion

Leading textile and apparel company S Kumar has drawn Rs360 crore expansion plan for its subsidiary Brandhouse Retail Ltd.

Company has entered into agreement with Dunhill brand for menswear and Escada for women's fashion wear.

Moreover, two in-house brands of Reid & Taylor are expected to launch in August with which company will have 20 brands in its basket.

Brandhouse Retails is set up exclusively for SKNL brands and key international brands arriving in India, informed company officials.

Company has also launched home textile brand Carmichael House, which offers wide range of bed linen, bath linen and table linen, curtails and uopholstery.

SKNL also wants to increase its retail operation from current 16 stores to 552 stores in next five years.
