True Religion to open new outlet store at Desert Hills

Apparel retailer True Religion Apparel Inc said it plans to open an outlet store in Cabazon, California, at the Desert Hills Premium Outlets, a popular Southern California shopping destination just outside of Palm Springs.
The Desert Hills store will be True Religion's first outlet store and will be in the company of venerable brands such as Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel and Polo Ralph Lauren.
"We are extremely active in purchasing seconds or irregulars from our contract manufacturers and using select distribution channels for these and slower moving or out-of-season apparel. With our own outlet store, we can directly control the distribution for this inventory and do so at financially attractive margins," said Michael Buckley, President of True Religion Apparel Inc.
The Desert Hills outlet store is scheduled to be open well before the Christmas shopping season. Along with the retail store rollout in SoHo and Miami Beach, as well as the currently operating store in Manhattan Beach, Calif., the outlet store brings to four the number of True Religion branded locations targeted to be in operation by year-end.
True Religion Apparel Inc is a growing, design-based lifestyle brand. It designs, manufactures and markets True Religion Apparel products, including its premium True Religion Brand Jeans.
