Marchpole declares Director's shareholding update

Further to the announcement made earlier, the Company announces that, on 31 August 2006, Harvey Shulman and Raymond Harris, Directors, acquired 460,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') and 25,000 Ordinary Shares respectively amounting to, in aggregate, 485,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 21.75 pence per share.
As a result, Harvey Shulman is now interested in a total of 510,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.37 percent of the issued share capital, and Raymond Harris is now interested in a total of 125,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.09 percent of the issued share capital of 136,031,233 Ordinary Shares.
Marchpole Holdings Plc is engaged in the design, production and distribution of designer menswear, including clothing and accessories to the retail trade, and is a brand manager for six labels, such as Emanuel Ungaro, Ungaro, Yves Saint Laurent, Boateng, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (JCC) and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac/Rossignol.
Its subsidiaries include Marchpole Group Limited, Glolite Limited, Tomasz Starzewski Menswear Limited.
And Marchpole Hong Kong Limited, Artpower Limited, Marchpole (North America) Limited, Marchpole Trading Limited, Minegoal Limited and Locatos BV.
On January 27, 2004, the Company announced the acquisition of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac S.A (JCC). During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2004 (fiscal 2004), the Company added the Castelbajac brands to its business.
As a result, Harvey Shulman is now interested in a total of 510,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.37 percent of the issued share capital, and Raymond Harris is now interested in a total of 125,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.09 percent of the issued share capital of 136,031,233 Ordinary Shares.
