Also being recognized at this year's ceremony are retailers who have gone above and beyond to reach out to their customers and community. Lollytogs President Richard Sutton will be presenting the Outstanding Corporate Citizenship award as well as a charitable donation to Target for the exceptional contribution made by their Ready.Sit.Read! program. “Our company is thrilled to affiliate ourselves with a retailer who also shares in our passion for improving education,” states Sutton, “we applaud Target's exemplary efforts with this hands on approach to improving literacy in America.”
To add to the excitement of the occasion, Richard Sutton and his team of executives will be joined by honored guests, Anna Weselak, President of the National Parent Teacher Association, and Tom Nguyen, Development and Sponsorship Manager, as well as other representatives from the NPTA. Lollytogs, proud sponsor of the NPTA, recently accompanied the association at their “Commitment to America's Children” Banquet to honor Target as well.
The 2005 SPARC Awards will be presented at a special banquet in Chicago on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2005.
