Linens, first household textile chain store from Turkey and a division of Zorlu Holding group, targets to increase its offshore market to 20 percent in the next two years, informed General Manager, Sule Zorlu.
Zorlu further stated that quality is the most important for them and also hoped that Ukraine will be model for future growth in Eastern Europe. Linens has 99 stores in Turkey and 23 abroad that includes 10 in Ukraine which mainly sale hope set item and bridal gowns.
Retail's turnover last year in Ukraine was $2 million. It has become leader in Ukraine markets thanks to its entry here five years ago, stated Zorlu. She added that they plan to increase their stores to 12 from 10 right now.
Besides, Ukraine, Zorlu Group has stores in Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and northern Cyprus with plans to open North Africa, including Libya, where an outlet is already under construction, as well as Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
