Lojas Renner to open new stores in Goiânia

Lojas Renner S.A. announces to the market in general and other interested parties that it is to inaugurate a further two stores in the fourth quarter 2006, in addition to the four units previously announced in the second quarter results release on August 1 of this year.

The stores will be located in Goiânia in the Shopping Bougainville mall and in São Paulo at the Shopping SP Market Center mall with a total area of 2,400 m2 and 1,900 m2, respectively. The unveiling of these stores is planned for November and early December.

As a result, the Company will end 2006 with 15 new stores and a total of 81 units in operation.

Lojas Renner is one of the three largest apparel department store chains in Brazil. With 64 stores, being 58 mall-based stores and 6 stand-alone stores strategically located throughout the South, Southeast and Mid-Western regions of Brazil, the Company designs, develops and sells women's, men's, teen and children's quality and fashionable apparel, footwear and intimate apparel under the eleven private brands of its Lifestyle concept, each of which targets a specific clothing style.
