In a protest of political deadlocks, readymade garment (RMG) units' owners and workers to stage a sit-in-programme in front of their own factory premises across the country.
Sit-in-programme to start today from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
According to Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President SM Fazlul Hoque, politics should not affect export oriented industry and there should be a permanent solution for the problem.
Politicians are laying barrier to economic growth of the country which is mainly driven by garment industry, SM Fazlul Hoque said.
BGMEA is also planning new campaigns after sit-in-programme to rescue sick industries.
