BCBG Max to design women's ready-to-wear for Carrefour

The Carrefour Group and the BCBG Max Azria Group have signed a formal cooperation and supply agreement for the women's ready-to-wear category.
This agreement allows BCBG Max Azria Group to design, produce and supply collections of women's ready-to-wear for the Carrefour hypermarkets in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Greece.
The line will be designed for the 2007 Fall Winter collection, set to arrive in the Carrefour stores during the second semester of the year.
According to Mr. Azria, Designer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BCBG Max Azria Group, "I am thrilled to be partnering with the Carrefour group. They have a global presence, a loyal consumer following, and a world- class brand name."
With this agreement, the Carrefour group is innovating and plans to reinforce and boost its ready-to-wear offering in hypermarkets. Mr. Jose Luis Duran, Chairman of the Management Board, states, "This collaboration with an internationally renowned fashion company is integral to the Carrefour group's strategy to further develop its sales in the non-food sector."
