Jaeger plans to expand retail chain in China

Jaeger, a British fashion retailing chain, is planning to expand in China via Hong Kong with a long term investment strategy.

Company is in search of sites to open new stores in Hong Kong as it finds huge potential in China.

It is also building up a wholesale line and they are discussing with large international departmental stores.

British retail chain recently opened a store in Canada and is looking for a site in New York.

Company is at later stages of negotiations to secure 13 stores over the next five years in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and India, sources informed.
