Garment units take protective measures against anti-dumping

In order to avoid anti-dumping lawsuit on apparel products by US, companies are going to prepare export plans.
If US Government finds apparel industry guilty of dumping, it may initiate anti-dumping lawsuits.
US is expected to supervise imports of products like trousers, shirts, underwear, swimwear and sweaters till 2008.
It will select countries which have similar environment of production like Bangladesh to keep a check against them.
It is also advisable to maintain proper books of accounts so that they do not suffer during inspection.
To avoid anti-dumping duty, it would be better to import materials from other countries.
Saigon 3 Garment Company has already planned to export 40 percent to US, 40 percent to EU and remaining 20 percent to Japan.
