Orka Group targets $17mn export in ready-to-wear sector

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in ready-to-wear sector, Orka Group's CEO Suleyman Orakcioglu stated that group's 25th year target is to be a world wide brand.
Orakcioglu informed that dressing habits of world can be divided into classic (60 percent), casual (30 percent) and trendy (10 percent). Therefore, Orka Group created 3 different brands like Damat, Tween and ADV.
Orakcioglu also added that, The Independent English brand association “Superbrands International“, which has its activity in 48 countries, announced that super brands Damat, Tween and ADV have been chosen by the association's members.
According the records, Orka Groups 2006 turnover was US $60 million and its export volume was $10 million. Group's end of 2008 year target is $94 million turnover and $17 million export.
