CDRC implements new standards for clothing industry

China Development & Reform Committee (CDRC) has issued standards for Fur Clothing, Chemical Fibre Knitting Underwear, and Knitted Baby apparel for the first time.
The standards number of fur clothing is QB/T 2822-2006, which would help in the examination rules, packaging, shipment, store and in labelllings.
The number of chemical fibre knitting underwear is FZ/T 73024-2006. This number can be used for knitted underwear which contains over 50 percent chemical fibre.
The baby knitting clothing standards number is FZ/T 73025-2006, suitable for all kind of baby and infant clothing including underwear, bedding, socks.
These standards were drafted according to American standards for women and children's underwear and clothing and Chinese safety and technology standards about textile products.
