Nhabeco & Japan's Itochu to set up veston suit plant

Recently, Nha Be Apparel Joint Stock Company (Nhabeco) inked an agreement with Japan-based Itochu Group to set up high-quality veston suit manufacturing unit in Tien Giang province, where more and more apparel plants are coming up.
Prominent Hong Kong company – subsidy of the Itochu, will join operation board of the plant which is located in campus of Song Tien Garment Company, a subsidiary company of Nhabeco.
The new US $2 million plant is expected to producing the high-end veston suit for export markets of US, Britain, France, Italy and Japan. This unit will employ over 500 local labors.
Nhabeco, under Vinatex, is leading apparel company in Vietnam, and has been cooperating successfully with many world famous fashion manufacturers, distributors and retailers including JC Penney, Adidas, Lebek, Columbia, Nike and Just Jamie etc.
The company has ability of producing 300,000 units of shirt, 350,000 jackets, 450,000 sets of suit and 500,000 pieces of pants per month.
