Jianshu to get Asia's largest garment processing base

The stone-laying ceremony of a garment processing base of Jiangsu Bosideng Industrial Development Company, located in Sihong County of Jiangsu Province, was held on August 6, 2007. The project would need an investment of around 10 billion yuan. This will become the largest garment production base in Asia.
The project would be built in an area spanning 714 acres with the main plant covering over 420,000 square meters. The facility is expected to achieve an annual output value of 2 billion yuan with profits of 80 million yuan and create more than 10,000 jobs.
Bosideng Group, the largest and most technologically advanced manufacturer of fabricated textile products in Asia, specializes in design, research, production and sales. The group has four production bases in the country with an output value, sales revenue and brand value exceeding 10 billion yuan last year.
