Brandix to showcase depth of industry at EDEX 2008

The US $ 320 million (2006-07) Brandix Group comprising of more than 25 manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka and India and strategically located international sourcing offices, pioneered the concept of total solutions in the Sri Lankan apparel industry. The Group is a preferred solutions provider to some of the world's best brands, including Gap, Marks & Spencer, Victoria's Secret, NEXT, Lands End, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch and Tommy Hilfiger. Brandix specializes in casual bottoms, intimate and active wear, textiles, knitted fabrics, sewing and embroidery thread, accessories and hangers. The Group also offers wet processing and finishing and fabric printing.
The winner of two Presidential Export Awards in 2007, Brandix has many firsts to its name, including the recent certification of its textile processing company Brandix Textiles as Fair Trade and Organic compliant. Brandix also has the distinction of obtaining the fastest certification globally for the Worldwide Responsible Apparel Manufacturing Programme (WRAP) and is among very few companies in the world to be WRAP certified.
