Progress of garment sector in south impresses Dalian

The Dalian city garment industry association recently organized a business trip to the south to understand the way business was conducted in that region.
The first reaction of the delegation was a very big surprise, when they saw that every thing was done on a large scale in the south. Large factories and huge production capacities were the trend.
They also noticed that the garment industries of the south were always on the look out for newer technologies and implementing the same.
They were also impressed with the management of the garment industries including their marketing and distribution process. All the above brought better returns to the industries of the south were the conclusions.
After seeing the size and the way business was conducted in the south the garment association members realized that it was only an illusion that Dalian was famous as a garment manufacturing city across China. It was also a bitter realization that the south had marched far ahead in terms of size and management of the units.
The growth of the garments units of Dalian had been very slow and if they were to compete with the garment units of the south they too would have to efficiently apply modern technologies as well as administrative techniques.
