Husein Jafferjee, new CEO of Rafaella

Rafaella Apparel Group Inc ("Rafaella"), an established designer, sourcer and marketer of a full line of women's career and casual sportswear separates, announced that it has appointed Husein Jafferjee as Chief Operating Officer.

"Husein has a long and successful track record of building and growing apparel businesses and we are very pleased to have him as a key member of the team."

Husein Jafferjee most recently held roles at Elie Tahari Ltd as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (2003-present) and Chief Financial Officer (2000-2003).

Previously, Mr. Jafferjee was Chief Financial Officer of Urban Children'sStores Inc, Chief Financial Officer of Henri Bendel Inc and Chief Financial Officer of Mexx USA Inc. He has also held various financial management positions at Bankers Trust Co, Cosmair Inc and Touche Ross & Co.

Mr. Jafferjee holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Manchester (UK) and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales.
