The MAS Institute of Management Technology (MIMT) is a BOI company which trains rural youth with its employment oriented courses which aimed at providing employment opportunities for young people in under privileged areas.

The MIMT education system comprises of training for the textile and garment manufacturing sector, along with others.

Various Indian textile companies are eager to set up their plants in Sri Lanka, but due to lack of proper skills in the textile sector, they are holding back.
