Shop.org announced that George Jones, President and CEO of Borders Group Inc and Toby Lenk, President, Gap Inc Direct, will serve as keynote speakers at its Annual Summit this September.
The Summit is a premier gathering event for leading online and multichannel retail executives from across the country. Attendees will come together to discuss, share ideas and network during the two-day event, which will take place September 15-17 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The Summit will also feature educational sessions, forums and roundtable discussion groups.
As President and CEO of Borders Inc, Jones runs the multi-billion company's national and international business operations. He brings more than three decades of experience to the company, which is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
His most recent job prior to joining Borders was serving as President and CEO of the Saks Department Store Group. Jones also held executive-level positions with Warner Bros. and Target.
Lenk, who serves as President of Gap Inc Direct, is responsible for the direction and management of the company's e-commerce websites which include Gap Online, Banana Republic Online and Old Navy Online, as well as their online footwear brand, Piperlime.
Prior to joining Gap Inc in 2003, Lenk founded and served as CEO for both GameFly and eToys. Before eToys, Lenk served as Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning for The Walt Disney Company.
