Coronado Museum of History and Art, hosts various exhibitions and programmes throughout the year for visitors. Presently, there is a display of rare textile and jewellary from Turkoman tribes of Central Asia. The expo which began on March 14 will go on till May 26.

'Talismans of the Turkoman: Traditions of a Warrior Tribe', under which the display is going on, beautifully represents the nomadic life the warriors and herdsmen of this tribe had. Even after wondering from place to place, they kept their culture intact.

The garments, that are on display here, are extremely rich and vibrant. The clothes are exquisitely embroidered, with beautiful patterns and motifs, reflect simplicity and elegance.

Colourful beaded jewellary and silver ornaments consisting of pendants, rings and bracelets are gathering great reviews from the onlookers. The finely crafted pieces show sophistication and importance they gave to dressing up.

This expo is offering viewers, a rare chance to get a glimpse of Turkoman tribal life and acquire knowledge about them.
