France eager to enhance bi-lateral trade relations with SME sector

In a Press Release issued (29.3.2008), Shri. A. Sakthivel, President, TEA said that Mr. Jean-Louis POLI, Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Economic Mission, Embassy of France in New Delhi called on him yesterday, (28.3.2008) in Tirupur and discussed on the possibilities of increasing the Business Relations between both countries, India and France, especially in SME sector.
Shri. A. Sakthivel had invited Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in France to make a visit to Tirupur to observe the Business Performance and potential of SMEs here and also asked them to visit the India Knit Fair (IKF) scheduled between May 15 – 17th, 2008.
Shri. A. Sakthivel has also suggested that SMEs in France could have a Joint Venture with SMEs in our Country in similar business.
Further to discussion, Mr. Jean-Louis POLI, Economic and Commercial Counsellor visualized the existence of opportunities and promotion of business activities among SMEs in both countries.
