In the first two months of present year, the textile sector of Vietnam has earned over US $111.42 million from the exports of apparel accessories, which includes bag, wallet, suitcase, hat and umbrella and many more. The figures represented a year–on–year growth of 25.4 percent.
Although in two months time, the exports of apparel accessory saw a rise, February registered a fall of 41.5 percent with earning of $41.181 million against January this year.
By the end of February, apparel accessories from Vietnam have been shipped to more than 34 countries across the globe. Among them the US emerged as the biggest clients with a consumption of $29.284 million, followed by Japan for $12.98 million and Germany at $11.743 million.
