ATDC Kolkata celebrates its Annual Day function

The Apparel Training & Design Centre, Kolkata had celebrated its Annual Day function and a fashion show UTSAV 2008 on 28th March 2008 at the EZCC Hall, Saltlake, Kolkata. The function was graced by Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya, Chairman, L.M.C., Kolkata, Dr. G.D. Gautama, Principal Secretary, MSME & Textile Department, Govt. of West Bengal, Mr. Manoj Pant, Managing Director, WBSIDC, Mr. K.B.Agarwal, BOG Member, ATDC & EC Member, AEPC, Kolkata and Mr. Ranjan Dasgupta, Joint Director, AEPC & Principal, ATDC, Kolkata.

The function commenced with opening song followed by the inauguration ceremony Prizes for the students scoring highest marks in each subject, total marks and for extra-curricular activities for the year 2007-2008 were given away by Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya, Chairman, L.M.C., Kolkata, Dr. G.D. Gautama, Principal Secretary, MSME & Textile Department, Govt. of West Bengal, Mr. Manoj Pant, Managing Director, WBSIDC, Mr. K.B. Agarwal, BOG Member, ATDC & EC Member, AEPC, Kolkata and Mr. Ranjan Dasgupta, Joint Director, AEPC & Principal, ATDC, Kolkata. This was followed by two classical dance performances, a solo dance performance by students of the centre and lectures.

Dignitaries on the Annual day:
Finally, the fashion show UTSAV 2008 was organized featuring fusion of the Indian festivals with modern stylized garments. The show was attended by various exporters, Govt officials, local television media and press personnel.
