Arvind & VF JV continues…

The rumor in the air that the age-old partnership between the world's largest clothing giant, VF Corp, and textile company Arvind Mills is facing serious challenges is inaccurate.
Official sources from VF Corp clearly and unequivocally stated that the news is absolutely false and is a misrepresentation of the good working relationship which exists between both companies.
“Our business continues to grow at a healthy rate in India and our expansion plans include opening new stores with both Arvind and other partners as has been the practice since the JV was established in September 2006.
“So far this year a total of 20 stores have been opened and we will continue to look for new opportunities to expand our retail network and distribution.
“VF remains fully committed to the continued success of our business in India which we expect will be achieved through a combination of organic growth and the launch of other brands from our international portfolio.”
