Shanghai City to host a symposium with Intl apparel buyers

The 2008 Global Brand Clothing Supply Chain and Color Application Technology Meeting will take place in July in Shanghai City. The event will be jointly sponsored by China Textile Information Center, American Dyeing Chemist Association (AATCC) and English Dyeing Experts Association.
The meeting, for the first time, will provide the opportunity for clothes suppliers to have a face-to-face talk with popular global brands and purchase magnates like Nike.
Besides, the main objective of this meeting is to strengthen the cooperation and exchange between Chinese textile and clothes enterprises and the international famous brands. This is believed to bring about awareness among local business firms about their position in the world market.
Most importantly, because of the new global clothes trade environment and challenge, the meeting will aim at promoting localization of international brands and globalization of domestic ones. It will also ensure to increase the application, innovation, and management levels of clothes color as well as increase the science and technology, quality and brand grades of Chinese apparel enterprises.
