My Vintage outsources distribution functions to Central Falls

My Vintage Baby Inc, a public children's apparel company, announced that it has outsourced the distribution of its award winning children's fashions to Central Falls Co., a North Texas based clothing manufacturer founded in 1989.

Central Falls Co. will be responsible for receiving all of My Vintage Baby's children's wear from their manufacturers and shipping to customers, beginning with the rollout of the Fall 2008 Collection. They will also perform quality-control and verify ordered vs. received quantities.

“This agreement will be extremely beneficial to us. We anticipate a substantial shipping cost reduction, reduced personnel costs, and the ability to serve our growing distribution channel with improved accuracy, timeliness, and flexibility.

“Outsourcing these functions allows us to intensify our focus on our core competencies - design and marketing - and to achieve significant revenue growth without inflating operating and administrative costs,” stated Jessica Wiswall, CEO, My Vintage Baby.
