There is good news for Indian men who love to spend extra amount on getting a perfectly tailored business suit that helps them stand out from the crowd. Madura Garment Exports is all set to launch The Collective, a chain of high end stores by October this year.
The made-to-measure stores will allow fashion conscious men to not only pick the fabric of their choice but also select design and cut, to get a one of its kind suit that will be stitched in Europe.
A subsidiary of Aditya Birla Nuvo, Madura will invest nearly Rs2750 million for opening these stylized stores that will house almost 35 globally renowned brands including Armani Collezioni and Henry Pool. Madura has appointed Kramer Design, New York-based brand retailer for this venture.
These opulent and elite outlets will be spread across 18,000 to 20,000 square feet. The first lavish outlet will come up in Bangalore by October, Delhi men will be able to enjoy this service from December, whereas Mumbai will have to wait till March or April of next year.
The company is now targeting the super premium luxury segment for earning high profits as it had to face a wholesale decline of almost 10 percent.
