Apparel exports to US marks considerable growth

It is a known fact that Vietnamese textile and garment products manufacturers have affirmed their place in US market. In spite of considerable drop in other export markets, country showed noteworthy growth in this particular country.
Vietnam shows an increase of 33 percent in product type 342(cotton skirt), although, total import of this category in US decreased by 33 percent.
Country witnessed a strong surge of 23 percent in type 348 (cotton trousers for women and little girl) while US import of this category decreased by 3 percent.
In products like artificial fiber, including category 538 (knitted shirt for men and little boy) doubled its export to US, especially category 639 (knitted shirt for women and little girl) got outstanding rise of 146 percent.
Whereas products of category 645 (sweaters made of artificial fiber for men and little boy) made notable growth of 275 percent compared to 39 percent decrease in total import of this category of US.
Products of 648 category (trousers made of artificial fiber for women and little girl), which increased country's market share gradually by 14 percent.
Lastly category 638 (knitted shirt made of artificial fiber), Vietnam's graph rose to 4 percent from 2 percent while that of China's record shows decrease from 7 percent to 5 percent.
