Retail turnover of Apranga goes up in September

The retail turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 50.6 million (EUR 14.6 million) in September 2008, or 10,2% more than in September 2007.
The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made LTL 375.4 million (EUR 108.7 million) in January through September 2008 and has increased by 22.5% comparing to corresponding period of 2007.
During the 8 months of 2008 the Apranga Group has earned LTL 7.8 million (EUR 2.3 million) unaudited profit before tax, or by 44% less, than during the same period last year. Unaudited profit before taxes of Apranga Group was LTL 3.8 million (EUR 1.1 million) in August 2008 alone, or 41% more, than in August 2007.
Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
