Altana to create Moschino branded children's clothing range

Moschino SpA, company of the Aeffe Group, and Altana SpA, leading company in the children's clothing sector, announce the signing of an agreement for the creation, development and world distribution, for five years renewable, of the Moschino boys' and girls' collections.
The collections, whose creative aspect remains at Moschino, will be aimed at three age groups: Moschino Teen for ages 6 through 14; Moschino Kid for 12-18 months to 6 years; and Moschino Baby from 1-3 months to 2 years.
Marina Salamon and Barbara Donadon, President and Managing Director of Altana SpA, respectively, express their great satisfaction and enthusiasm for the signing of this agreement, for having always appreciated Moschino's creativity and for the potential that the Moschino brand will be able to unleash thanks to Altana's highly specialized organisation in production and distribution.
Massimo Ferretti, President of the Aeffe Group, in commenting on the agreement states: “I am convinced that by combining Altana's great experience and professionalism in the children's sector with the creativity of Moschino, we will achieve excellent results.”
The new Moschino Teen, Moschino Kid and Moschino Baby collections for Fall/Winter 2009-10 will be presented at Pitti Bimbo in Florence in January 2009 and will be sold in stores beginning in July of the same year.

Founded by Marina Salamon in 1982, Altana is today one of the leading Italian companies of luxury childrenswear specialised in licensed brands management. At present, Altana boasts many of the best known designer griffes. Brand names produced and distributed under license are Jeckerson, Liu Jo, Moncler, Pinko, the joint venture Dimensione Danza, and its own brand, Amore.
